The Government Delegation in Galicia publishes today its new Charter of Services With a determined commitment to quality in the attention to citizenship and the values of transparency to social responsibility. The new Charter will be in force until the year 2026, after its approval by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and publication in the BOE of the past 28 of October. The content will be reviewed to adapt it during the period of validity to the new services and to the reality of Galician society.
With this Charter, the Government Delegation in Galicia and the Government Subdelegation in A Coruña renew the challenge of offering an efficient and quality provision of their services and the commitment to work for the continuous improvement of them. This is possible by the inclusion of 42 quality commitments associated with the procedures and the duty to periodically review their compliance.
For the citizens, the main advantage is that they unify the previous service letters that offered, in two independent documents, the services provided in person and electronically. Thus, the current Charter becomes a guide to improve the relationship of the citizen with the Administration and advance on the path of modernization and digitalization.
On a practical level, the document offers, from a single point, access to all the procedures in which it has competence to the Government Delegation in Galicia, at the autonomous level, and the Government Subdelegation in A Coruña, at the provincial level. In total, there are 229 services in 21 categories ranging from public information, foreigners, international vaccination, sanctions and administrative authorizations, among others.
Access to these services is simple and direct and allows the interested person to know if the service is provided in person or also electronically. In case of being face-to-face, the document also allows to request a prior appointment, when required. In electronic services, it offers a direct link to facilitate the processing.
Citizen participation
The unified Charter of Services has a clear vocation for transparency and promoting the participation of citizens, to which it details the rights that assist them in their relationship with the Administration. To ensure participation, the Charter facilitates the communication of complaints, suggestions and the transfer of writings to the persons responsible for the units. In addition, the Delegation will periodically provide an assessment of the fulfillment of the commitments made in the Charter, in order to continue making progress in its improvement.
