- The government delegate in Cantabria chaired on Friday the Local Security Board together with the mayor, Roberto Escobedo.
Criminal offenses have been reduced by 23.96% in the municipality of Val de San Vicente from January to September compared to the same period of 2024, a decrease that is mainly due to the fall of 25% in conventional crime, as well as 18.7% in cybercrime.
This has been detailed this Friday by the government delegate in Cantabria, Pedro Casares, in the Local Security Board that has presided together with the mayor of Val de San Vicente, Roberto Escobedo.
In the meeting, held at the City Hall, the head of the Civil Guard, Lieutenant Colonel Julio Postigo, along with other officers of the body and representatives of the Local Police, also participated.
Casares has indicated that, in the first nine months of 2025, conventional crime has fallen by 25% in the municipality as the main criminal indicators have fallen or remain stable.
Thus, it has pointed out that the thefts fell until September by 7.14% and no robberies with violence or theft of vehicles have been recorded in the municipality during these first nine months of the year.
