February 5, 2026. The government delegate has valued the investment of more than 2 billion euros in the Region of Murcia from the Recovery Plan of the Government of Spain and has highlighted that these funds are reaching all citizens, sectors and administrations of our community.
“The company Caudal is an example of quality and innovation, which is committed to sustainability in its irrigation systems and pipes, something fundamental in a Region where every drop of water counts. This company is one of the more than 49,000 beneficiaries of the funds of the Recovery Plan of the Government of Spain,” he said.
In this vein, Lucas is committed to continue working so that this company and others in the Region can continue to benefit from these and other aid from the Government of Spain, the administration that is championing the true transformative project of the Region of Murcia.
During a visit to the facilities of the company Caudal, the government delegate reiterated the commitment of the Government of Spain to the needs of the town and all its strategic sectors and valued today in Puerto Lumbreras the 600,000 euros contributed by the Government of Spain for the recovery of the monumental complex of the castle-fortress of Nogalte, one of the heritage jewels of the town.
“Preserving our heritage is preserving our identity, and thanks to the 2% Cultural program of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda, Puerto Lumbreras is going to recover one of its heritage jewels, which will help boost its tourist and socioeconomic development,” he said.
Francisco Lucas, who has also visited the headquarters of the Civil Guard and met with the Community of Regantes, recalled that the Government of Spain has allocated more than one million euros to subsidize the two municipal children's schools, open a 2-year classroom with 16 places and create another 219 places for children's education.
