The State Foundation for Training in Employment (Fundae) has today launched new training pathways aimed at strengthening the digital skills of workers, self-employed and unemployed people. These are the latest courses included in the agreement with the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence (SEDIA), financed with the European funds NextGenerationEU.
The Provincial Director of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) in Melilla and patron of Fundae, Jorge Vera, has encouraged citizens to take advantage of these free training resources. “These training courses enable us to acquire advanced digital skills that are essential today to improve the employability and competitiveness of companies,” he said.
New itineraries in e-commerce
Among the published contents, the incorporation of a new complete area dedicated to electronic commerce, composed of five training itineraries stands out: ‘CMS for e-commerce’, ‘Customer Relationship Management’ (CRM), ‘Digital Customer Service’, ‘Digital Supply Chain Transformation’, and ‘Leadership and Essential Digital Competencies’.
The courses range from creating and managing an online store to digital logistics, through multi-channel customer care and team leadership in digital environments.
Likewise, the area of Design and sales strategy is completed with two new itineraries: ‘Search Engine Marketing’ (SEO-SEM) and ‘Digital skills for Marketing trainers’.
Four-level itineraries and self-training training
The itineraries are composed of four levels based on the European Digital Competences Framework (DigComp 2.2), which can be done independently or by completing the entire itinerary, with an estimated effort of 150 hours.
The entire offer is self-training and uses a methodology based on self-evaluating challenges, which participants can incorporate into their professional portfolios.
As the Provincial Director explained, “we talk about flexible training, free of charge and adapted to the real demands of the labor market, especially for sectors that need to advance in digitalization”.
Promoting digital skills in Melilla
Jorge Vera recalled that these trainings are in addition to the various initiatives promoted by the SEPE and Fundae to strengthen digital training in the city.
“Our goal is for Melilla workers and companies to have access to tools that allow them to adapt and grow in an increasingly demanding digital environment,” he said.
