Boosting public collective transport
This measure is in addition to the discounts and gratuitous measures already applied by the Ministry for state public transport for the whole of 2025, and which have involved an investment of approximately 350 million euros during the first half of the year. Thus, during this period, users have been able to benefit from the free services of Neighbourhoods, Rodalies and conventional Media Distancia and from discounts of 50% of Avant services. In addition, state-owned bus lines have counted on a 100% bonus for recurring users.
The Government of Spain continues in this way with its determined commitment to promote the use of collective public transport among citizens as an essential axis in their daily mobility, as it is a safer, sustainable, inclusive and egalitarian means of transport.
