This aid, from which all players in the sector, including Designations of Origin, can benefit, is aimed at improving processing facilities and wine infrastructures, as well as marketing structures and instruments for wine products.

María Rivas recalled that Galicia will receive 7,768,570 euros already committed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food within the Sectoral Intervention of the Vineyard (ISV) program for the period 2024-2025. This aid falls within the framework of the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), and has a budget for this sectoral programme of 202.1 million euros per year between 2024 and 2027, in addition to responding to the demands of the new CAP that at least 5% of the budget be allocated to environmental actions.
