- In addition, another examinee was detected trying to pass this test through a new technological system that, as a morse code, facilitated the responses through vibrations of a small phone
The National Police in San Sebastián, in collaboration with the Provincial Traffic Headquarters, have carried out several joint actions to prevent and prevent fraud in the traffic examinations in Gipuzkoa that have resulted in the arrest of four people for alleged crimes of usurpation of civil status.
In this regard, the agents found that two of the detainees travelled from Navarra and Hospitalet de Llobregat to, subject to payment, carry out the examination at the headquarters of Beasain and Azpeitia, supplanting the identity of the true applicants, who resided in Donostia.
As a result, these four persons were arrested and found to be two Pakistanis and two sub-Saharans aged 37, 39, 40 and 50.
In addition, during one of these theoretical exams, another applicant was also detected using a new electronic device composed of a Wi-Fi router, a power bank or portable external battery, a microcamera located in his shirt and a small phone through which he received, as a morse code, the responses through vibrations. In this way, if the answer to the question asked was option A, he received a vibration, if it was the B, he obtained two and if it was the C, they gave him three vibrations.
In this regard, the researchers learned that this man, of Moroccan nationality, came to pay up to 2000 euros for the service, so that investigations are currently continuing for the location of the individuals who participated in the events.
