Between January and September, the police forces operating in Navarre recorded 27,187 criminal offences, that is, 0.1% more than in the same period of 2024. In this way, the crime rate of the last twelve months remains unchanged from 2024 in 52.9 criminal offenses per 1,000 inhabitants, two points above the national average.
They are data of Balance of Criminality published by the Ministry of the Interior and which reflects the evolution of crime in Spain recorded in the first nine months of 2025 by the State Security Corps (National Police and Civil Guard), the Security Corps dependent on the Autonomous Communities (Ertzaintza, Mossos d'Esquadra and Foral Police of Navarra), and also by those Local Police Corps that provide data to the State Security Forces and Corps.
Between January and September, drug trafficking offences decreased by 26.1% (from 180 to 133). Those committed against sexual freedom (from 351 to 302) also did so by 14%, although sexual assault with penetration increased by 14% (from 50 to 57), while other crimes against sexual freedom decreased by 18.6% (from 301 to 245).
Burglary in homes, establishments and other facilities also fell by 7.4% (from 1,045 to 968), with a fall of 1.3% in the case of burglary in homes (from 741 to 731).
On the other hand, in the first nine months of the year, malicious homicides and consummate murders increased by 133.3% (from 3 to 7). A kidnapping was recorded (none in the same period of the previous year). And there was a 29.4% increase in wilful homicides and attempted murders (from 17 to 22), and a 25.1% increase in serious and less serious crimes of injuries and tumultuous squabbling (from 359 to 449).
Between January and September, robberies with violence and intimidation increased by 23.5% (from 353 to 436). While 17.8% did so with vehicle subtractions (from 118 to 139).
Theft remained unchanged (from 6,457 to 6,521, an increase of 1%) and the rest of conventional crime, which grows by 1.7% (from 13,094 crimes to 13,323).
In this way, conventional crime increased by 1.5% between the months of January and September, while cybercrime fell by 5.5%. Thus, computer scams fell by 4.3% (from 4,484 to 4,289), while the rest of cybercrimes fell by 13% (from 686 to 597).
Breakdown by municipality
The Crime Balance shows the breakdown of municipalities with more than 20,000 inhabitants:
- In the Egüés/Eguesibar Valley, the number of criminal offences increased by 1.7% (from 531 to 540). The crime rate is 31.5 criminal offences per 1,000 inhabitants.
- In Pamplona/Iruña, criminal offences increased by 5.4% (from 11,805 to 12,445). The crime rate is 77.6.
- In Tudela, they fell by 10.6% (from 2,132 to 1,906 criminal offences). The crime rate is 68.9.
- In Burlada/Burlata, the number of criminal offences fell by 7.7% (from 560 to 517), with a crime rate of 34 offences per 1,000 inhabitants.
