The Ministry of Industry and Tourism has given the green light to 2 new Navarre projects within line B of the PERTE VEC II linked to the value chain of the electric vehicle. In Spain as a whole, seven new favourable draft resolutions have been published within this line amounting to EUR 39.7 million.
The Navarran projects amount to 2.4 million and correspond to:
- Dana Automoción: is a supplier of light vehicle transmission technologies. It is awarded 954,232 euros for its factory in Pamplona.
- Cebe Electromechanical Components Spain. It obtains 1.45 million euros for its plant in Villatuerta for the design, manufacture and marketing of electromechanical automotive components.
Along with them, the applications of Renault Spain (31.48 million euros), Idneo Technologies (429.744 euros), Doga (456.107 euros), Wall Box Chargers (4.65 million euros) and Alcorto Forging Group (249.957 euros) have been approved.
As of the closing date of the call, 138 applications have been received with a joint budget of more than 2.7 billion euros. The allocation of this call amounts to 787.6 million euros, after the approved extension with the remnants of the A line of batteries.
The objective of this line is to promote investment plans for the industrial value chain of the electric and connected vehicle, its systems, subsystems and components, as well as certain auxiliary infrastructure systems necessary for its deployment.
About PERTE VEC II
The PERTE VEC II in its battery section, already resolved at the end of last year, granted a total of 609 million euros that have benefited projects such as the SEAT assembly plant in Martorell; or the Stellantis battery gigantic in Figueruelas or the Envision in Extremadura.
Regarding the value chain section, PERTE has already granted 420 million euros between grants and loans, which have benefited companies such as Gestamp, Mercedes in Vitoria, Stellantis in Vigo, Figueruelas or Madrid, and Renault in Palencia, to name a few of the most outstanding. To this amount, the new awards are now added in the amount of 39.7 million euros
