The Public Service of State Employment (SEPE) has raised to 2,396,380 euros the funding of projects of experiential employment and training programs TándEM for the year 2025 for Melilla.
The Provincial Director of the SEPE, Jorge Vera, has highlighted the fact that the item has increased by almost one million euros compared to last year and has explained that these subsidies, which are granted on a competitive basis, are intended for these programs that replace the old ‘school-workshops’ and ‘employment workshops’, as well as for the Promotion and Development Units that collaborate in their preparation, accompaniment and evaluation.
Vera has highlighted the commitment of the Government of Spain to training and employment in our city and has explained that they may be beneficiaries of grants for the financing of projects of experiential employment and training programs TandEm, public entities, including local entities and corporations -such as the Autonomous City-, or private non-profit entities that carry out the activity for which they are given the aid or that are in the situation that justifies receiving it.
The head of the SEPE in our city has pointed out that in this exercise two lines are functioning. One for children under 30 with a duration of 12 months, which, specifically, has three first months of training scholarship at 9 euros per day, and, from the fourth month and until the end of the program, these people are hired with an amount greater than 1,700 euros in gross.
The second line, which is generic, is six months, and they start with contracting directly, having a dual training, contracted with the same amount, during the six months that it lasts.
The grants provided for in this call will be financed from the corresponding funds provided in the Budget of expenses of the Public Service of State Employment. The extract of the resolution has been published today in the Official State Gazette (BOE) and the deadline for submitting applications is one month from tomorrow.
