The staff of the Civil Guard Command in Melilla is strengthened with the incorporation of 11 new troops. Specifically, these are 3 officers and 8 civil guards who will be integrated into different operational units of the Corps.
The Government Delegate, Sabrina Moh, together with the Chief Colonel of the Command, Jesús Rueda, and the Lieutenant Colonel, Arturo Ortega, have received the agents in the Government Delegation, in a presentation ceremony that has served to welcome them to the city.
The highest representative of the Government of Spain in our city has thanked the new additions for their commitment and has transmitted their recognition for being part of the State Security Forces and Corps in Melilla.
“As Delegate of the Government, I have discovered the true vocation of service and how you live your profession,” she said, highlighting the reinforcement that this incorporation represents for the security of the city. Thus, he pointed out that he knows first-hand the work done by the professionals of the armed institute in our city.
The head of the delegation highlighted the coordination that exists between the Civil Guard, the National Police and the Local Police, a collaboration that she considers key to ensuring the welfare of citizens.
But not only that, Moh has also been sure that, on a personal level, they will be very comfortable in Melilla, given that it is a very welcoming city. Finally, she was convinced that, on a personal level, “they are going to be very comfortable in Melilla, a welcoming and nearby city”.
The Colonel Chief of the Civil Guard Command, for his part, explained to them the tasks and competences of the Civil Guard in Melilla and stressed the teamwork, help and collaboration that exists both within the Benemérita and with the other security forces in the city and he has been convinced that for the new troops that integrate in Melilla it will be a good experience and will be full of successes.
