Students of the Higher Degrees of Informatics, Laboratory and Administration and Finance of Professional Training of the IES Leopoldo Queipo and the CIFP Reina Victoria Eugenia have known at first hand the work that is carried out within the different offices of the Delegation of the Government of Melillla.
The Government Delegate, Sabrina Moh, at the presentation, accompanied by the Secretary General of the Government Delegation, Sana Abdeslam, and the Head of the Coordination Unit Against Violence Against Women, Laura Segura, has put in value the development of the Open Administration Week, since it allows the work done by this institution to be brought closer to the citizens.
The head of the Delegation has encouraged the students to ask all the questions they deem appropriate to know the tasks that take place in the day-to-day life of the Administration. “At your disposal, and within the reach of the citizens, you have such a useful tool as this, which is made up of a team of professionals who always serve the citizens with dedication, commitment and, above all, professionalism,” he said.
“I find it interesting that, especially the young people of our city, you have this approach to the Delegation and express all the doubts you have, so that we can solve them, because, in addition to knowing the services we provide, it is important that you know that this can also be a future option for your professional life,” said Moh.
Thus, the Delegate has encouraged them to become part of the General Administration of the State. “It is important that, as citizens, you know what you can do, but also so that, as students who are now developing your training, you have another option for the future when you have to enter the labor market,” he said.
Visit and workshops
The Secretary General of the Government Delegation has explained to them the areas of competence over which the Delegation has responsibility and has carried out a presentation on how to exercise participation in public affairs along with the projection of a virtual guided visit to the Transparency Portal and participation in the prior consultation procedure in the Transparency Law, with the aim of its dissemination and participation.
After Sana Abdeslam it was the turn of the Head of the Unit, who spoke to them about protection in their area, and with whom she held a workshop in which a practical assumption was raised on how to act in a possible case of gender violence, focusing on the resources made available to victims by the General Administration of the State.
The students have made a guided visit by the Delegation to the different services: General Secretary, General Registry, Office of Foreigners, and Health Area. Specifically in the area of Health they have carried out a second workshop in which a practical explanation of the analytical identification of toxic substances and an implementation of the use of Individual Protection Equipment (PPE) has been carried out.
