Gabriel de Morales’ Centre for Early Childhood and Primary Education (CEIP), which is going to be called ‘Encarna León’, “is a further demonstration of the commitment of the Spanish Government to Melilla and of the momentum we are giving in education during these four and a half years”.
The Government Delegate, Sabrina Moh, together with the Education Spokeswoman of the Socialist Parliamentary Group in Congress, María Luz Martínez Seijo, and the management team of the Ministry of Education and Professional Training (MEyFP) in Melilla, has visited the works of the CEIP that are about to end.
“When we came to the government in 2018 we said that we were going to work tirelessly to get the ratios down,” said the top representative of the Government of Spain in our city, who has made it clear that “materializing necessary and fundamental infrastructures for Melilla is proof of this.”
Moh has defended the action of the Executive of Pedro Sánchez that has resulted in the implementation of centers such as the Institute ‘Virgen de la Victoria’ in Jardín Valenciano or the School of Languages, Conservatory and Education For Adults in the old building of the central market, “to continue giving the educational quality to the city that it deserves”, since it has allowed the lowering of the ratio of students per classroom.
But it has also valued the investments aimed at materializing educational improvement projects as well as the existing coordination between the Provincial Directorate, the Government Delegation and the Ministry of Education “that has made it possible to materialize many projects for the educational quality of the city”
Moh has transferred to the Melillense citizens its commitment to continue working to continue promoting education in the city of Melilla and to continue improving the quality of education.
