- Innvierte, an initiative of the Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI), contributes, through participation in investment vehicles and co-investment, to the growth of innovative technology-based companies.
- These operations are aimed at various developments in the sectors Health, Energy and Environment and Industry.
- At the national level, since January 2025, the CDTI, through Innvierte, has closed co-investment operations in 31 companies with a commitment of 62.44 million euros and has committed investments in 4 investment vehicles with a commitment of 283.5 million euros.
The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, through the Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI), has invested more than 1.3 million euros in May to promote the development of innovative and sustainable projects in the Community of Madrid.
These operations have been carried out through the investment commitment in two Spanish companies, through these co-investment operations:
- CAPTOPLASTIC S.L. (Madrid). You will receive 994,000 euros. It develops an innovative technology, capable of controlling and capturing microplastics to combat their polluting effects in aqueous media, promoting sustainability and environmental protection. The investment is made with BEABLE INNVIERTE KETS FUND FCR.
- Floatech S.L. (Madrid). You will receive 360,000 euros. It has developed a process for the manufacture of nanomaterials of high added value from precursor gases and by thermo-catalysis. It currently produces nano silicon anodes for the new generation of lithium-ion batteries used in mobility. The investment is made with GROW SEED FUND I, F.C.R.E. (Grow Venture Partners) and BSV, F.C.R.E. (Big Sur Ventures SGEIC, S.A.).
At the national level, the CDTI has invested more than 5.2 million euros in a total of seven companies in the month of May. Since January 2025, the CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, has closed co-investment operations in 31 companies with a commitment of 62.4 million euros, and has closed investments in 4 investment vehicles with a commitment of 283.5 million euros.
Innvierte
Innvierte is an initiative whose objective is to promote business innovation by supporting venture capital investment in technology-based or innovative companies. This program is implemented through the closed-ended collective investment company Innvierte Economía Permanente SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and subject to the supervision of the National Securities Market Commission and of which the CDTI is a single shareholder.
To date, the CDTI has committed 2,183 million euros in 57 investment vehicles, which have invested in more than 602 companies, and through its co-investment line has directly committed an amount of 632 million euros in 188 companies.
Innvierte is part of the Spanish Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation 2021-2027, approved by the Council of Ministers in September 2020. This Strategy contains the objectives, reforms and measures that must be adopted throughout the field of R+D+I in order to boost its growth and impact, and is one of the pillars on which the design of the Government's R+D+I policy for the coming years is based.
CDTI
The Center for Technological Development and Innovation, CDTI E.P.E. It is a public company dependent on the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities whose objective is the promotion of technological innovation in the business field.
The mission of the CDTI is to ensure that the Spanish business fabric generates and transforms scientific and technical knowledge into globally competitive, sustainable and inclusive growth. In 2024, within the framework of a new strategic plan, the CDTI provided more than 2.3 billion euros of support to Spanish companies and startups.
