• Three companies from Madrid and one from Aranjuez, the awardees
• The national total granted is 41 million for the Connected Electric Vehicle and 3.5 million for the Agri-food Sector
Four companies from the Community of Madrid have been provisional awardees of about 3 million euros granted by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism of the third call of the PERTE of the Electric and Connected Vehicle (VEC) in its value chain section and the second call of the PERTE Agro.
Specifically, of the PERTE VEC III, for which 41 million euros have been provisionally awarded, the projects approved in the Community of Madrid have been those of:
- Orbis Electrical Technology. Madrid. 460,000€
- Robert Bosch. Madrid. 570.000€
- Robert Bosch. Aranjuez. 1’9M€
The objective of this line is to promote investment plans for the industrial value chain of the electric and connected vehicle, its systems, subsystems and components, as well as certain auxiliary infrastructure systems necessary for its deployment.
PERTE AGRO
As for PERTE Agri-food aid, at national level 3 million euros have been awarded to 7 projects, of which one belongs to a company in the region. It is the company of the capital León without gluten, which receives 43,496 euros.
The objective of this PERTE, whose second call is endowed with 100 million euros, is to strengthen the competitiveness and resilience of the agri-food sector in Spain, favoring quality employment and the territorial roots of companies.
Other support for industrial competitiveness
The Secretary of State for Industry promotes these mechanisms to continue advancing industrial competitiveness and contribute to the growth of companies already anchored in Spain, as well as attract new investments.
Along with the 8 billion euros injected from industrial EARRs, the Ministry of Industry and Tourism has other tools such as the FAIIP, endowed with 1.6 billion euros, the ENISA programs or the aid to electrointensive consumers.
In 2025, compensatory aid for indirect CO2 emissions costs will have a budget of 600 million euros, compared to 300 million euros in 2024. This will have a direct impact on reducing companies’ energy bills and, therefore, on improving competitiveness.
The call for this aid will be launched before the end of the first half of the year, and will allow the companies that consume the most to save between 17 and 18MW/h of their electricity bill.
