In the Community of Madrid 47 new farmers of dry, rice and tomato farmlands of industry will receive the extraordinary aid of 181,891 euros of the new payment framed in the state support to compensate for the drought and war in Ukraine.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has published a new resolution granting aid in total to 2,094 holders of agricultural holdings producing dry land, rice and tomato industry in Spain, amounting to more than 4.5 million euros, to compensate for the difficulties due to the drought and the war in Ukraine. The aid will be paid into farmers’ bank accounts before the end of September.
With this new payment, the amount of this extraordinary State aid already paid by the Government amounts to 268.6 million euros, which have benefited 137,252 farmers, which represents 99.9% of the total budget of this line.
The headlines that appear in the new resolution are those that appeared in the provisional last July, and that are aware of their tax and social security obligations. These are holders who could not be granted aid earlier because the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) controls for the 2023 marketing year had not been finalised.
The list of holders of agricultural holdings that meet the aid requirements, together with the number of eligible hectares and the amount of the aid to be received, can be consulted on the bulletin board of the electronic office of the Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEGA).
