Madrid, April 27, 2024.- The government delegate in Madrid, Francisco Martín, participated yesterday in the celebration of the patron saint of the Illustrious College of Administrative Managers of Madrid (ICOGAM), San Cayetano de Thiene, which, this year also commemorates the 90th anniversary of its constitution.
The event, attended by 2,000 people among Administrative Managers, family and friends, took place at the Multiusos Madrid Arena Pavilion.
During his speech, Francisco Martín highlighted the “nine decades of tireless and constant work to make life easier for people with great professionalism and a vocation for public service”. “You are the window that thousands, millions of citizens of our country and our community have to reach the administrations.”
The government delegate wanted to thank the Administrative Managers, who “from every town and every corner bring the General Administration of the State closer to the citizens, in order to make it more accessible and useful to solve the daily problems of the people.”
Francisco Martín recalled the implementation, by the Government, of the Digitalization Plan of Public Administrations 2021-2025, “which represents a decisive leap in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Public Administration because its objective is to respond to the main challenges of the Administration, such as employment, justice and health”.
Finally, he congratulated the officials awarded for their work and wanted to continue as great professionals “who will not stop growing”.
