The government delegate in Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, met today with leaders of the Tatiana Foundation, whose main objective is support for research in neuroscience and the training of young people in Civic Leadership.
The meeting, in which the President of the Foundation, Teodoro Sánchez-Ávila, and the Academic and Institutional Relations Director, Álvaro Matud, were present, is part of the round of contacts maintained by the Government delegate with the main actors in the scientific, cultural, economic and social field.
The Foundation has numerous scholarship programs for students and young researchers in the field of scientific research and neuroscience. In addition, they have created CINET, the International Center for Neuroscience and Ethics, with the aim of “promoting dialogue between cutting-edge neuroscience, psychology and the ethical issues derived from it.”
It also has an Entrepreneurship Program with training and workshops for young people who need to make their idea come true or grow their project, and a call for grants and scholarships.
Museum floor visit
After the meeting, the government delegate made a guided tour of the museum floor that the Foundation has located on the promenade of General Martínez Campos, 25, in Madrid.
In this same building lived, in different stages of her life, her founder, Tatiana Pérez de Guzmán el Bueno. It was after his death, in 2012, that the Tatiana Foundation decided to museum the main floor, in coordination with experts from the Association of Friends of the National Museum of Decorative Arts, as a sign of the commitment to preserve and disseminate the historical-artistic heritage inherited from its founder.
