The subdelegate of the Government in Madrid, Pilar Trinidad Núñez, has held a meeting with representatives of the Association for the Prevention, Reintegration and Care of Prostituted Women (APRAMP).
Its president, Rocío Mora, explained the daily work carried out by the association to prevent and eradicate sexual exploitation and trafficking in human beings.
To this end, it addresses the needs of sexually exploited women and acts as a bridge between them and public services by supporting them in the recovery of freedom and rights.
APRAMP focuses its efforts on combating trafficking in women from a human rights and gender perspective. Its goal is for people who suffer sexual exploitation and trafficking in human beings to regain their freedom and dignity by asserting their rights and to achieve the autonomy necessary to undertake a life outside the control and abuse of its exploiters.
