The delegate of the Government in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín, has assured today that “the path by which the Government of Spain wants to continue advancing in this legislature is the path of social justice. We must do it throughout Spain and, therefore, we will also contribute in the Community of Madrid.”
It was during the presentation of the Social Merit and Great Cross of Social Justice Awards, organized by the General Council of Social Graduate Schools of Spain, and held at the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation, in Madrid.
Among the winners was Magdalena Valerio, whom the delegate wanted to congratulate especially for having been distinguished with the Great Cross of Social Justice, which recognizes “a trajectory of extraordinary and recognized prestige.” “It’s about justice,” he added.
Progress Agenda
The government delegate recalled that during the six months of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Government of Spain has continued its route in favor of strengthening the European social pillar, seeking to “strengthen social justice, also in labor relations.”
The result of this work is, for example, the agreement reached for the new legislation in the field of artificial intelligence, with so much influence in the labor field, as well as the directive for the rider Stop being generally considered as self-employed workers.
However, he has pointed out as the “best” example of this agenda “the labor reform validated in Congress at the beginning of last year. Ambitious legislation in favor of the rebalancing of relations between social agents and to favor indefinite hiring and therefore quality and stability in employment.”
Social graduates
Currently, more than 22,000 professionals are part of the official colleges of Social Graduates, who in their daily work contribute to the strengthening of fair labor relations, through the application of Labor Law and Social Security.
