- The 32 farmers who are going to receive this payment were included in the decision to grant the aid on October 2, but had to make some corrections
- With this new payment, more than 2.8 million euros have been granted in total to about 900 farmers of this extraordinary support line in the region
- The amount of the aid will be entered in the accounts of the beneficiaries during the month of November
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has published a second list with 32 holders of livestock farms in the Community of Madrid who will receive extraordinary aid to compensate for the situation due to the drought and the conditions arising from the war in Ukraine, in the amount of 93,074 euros.
This new payment adds to the bulk made in the month of October of 2.7 million euros. In this way, the total amount paid for this extraordinary aid in the region already amounts to 2.8 million euros, distributed among 896 farmers in the region.
This aid was approved by the Government through Royal Decree-Law 4/2023 of 11 May, which adopts urgent agrarian and water measures in response to drought and worsening conditions in the primary sector resulting from the war in Ukraine and weather conditions.
The list of beneficiary farm owners, the number of computed livestock heads and the amount of aid to be received is available at the electronic headquarters of the Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEGA).
The holders who are now granted the aid are those who could not be paid the aid through the resolution published on October 2 because they were not aware of their tax obligations and with Social Security, and who have corrected the situation within a month.
The aid will be entered into farmers’ bank accounts during the same month of November.
The resolution published today also includes those holders who have been denied aid because they have not been made aware of their tax and social security obligations within the time granted for correction.
The producers concerned may, if they so wish, lodge an appeal with the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food within one month of the day following its publication.
The claims presented by the owners of farms both in July to the provisional resolution, and those of October to the complementary resolution of owners communicated ex officio by the autonomous communities, on errors, omissions or other circumstances that require a detailed analysis of them, have been sent to the autonomous communities for their analysis and are not the subject of this concession resolution that is published today.
The holders whose claims are resolved favourably will be able to receive the aid later, once it has been verified that they comply with all the required conditions, and in particular, that they are aware of their tax obligations and with Social Security.
