The government delegate in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre, visited this morning the APRAMP Training Center, the Association for the Prevention, Reintegration and Care of Prostituted Women, where he met today with its president, Rocío Nieto, and the director, Rocío Mora.
The association carries out a process of intervention with women and girls victims of trafficking in the Community of Madrid and in five other communities in four stages: of approach and detection in the places of exploitation of women; of assistance and support, with comprehensive reception centres; of protection and recovery, in the apartments of victims of trafficking, and of training and insertion into the labour market, with active search for employment.
APRAM is a non-profit organization specialized in the integral care of women and girls from a human rights approach with a gender perspective. The purpose of APRAMP is to build a society free of violence and exploitation where people regain their freedom and dignity. The fight against trafficking and exploitation requires the commitment of all social actors and society in general, to develop a "zero tolerance" movement against this form of slavery and violence against women.
