The Ministry of Industry and Tourism has provisionally awarded 41 million euros from the third call for the Electric and Connected Vehicle PERTE in its value chain section to 21 companies. Among them are the Riojan projects of Standard Profil Spain, with 620,000 euros, and Norpoo Electronics, with 520,000 euros.
This was announced by the Secretary of State for Industry, Rebeca Torró, during her appearance in the Industry Committee of the Congress of Deputies to answer questions from parliamentary groups in different areas.
The objective of this line is to promote investment plans for the industrial value chain of the electric and connected vehicle, its systems, subsystems and components, as well as certain auxiliary infrastructure systems necessary for its deployment.
Rebeca Torró recalled during her speech that the Government of Spain is and will continue to be on the side of the automotive sector to accompany it in the joint challenge of electrification and decarbonization of its processes and that the fields of action have been fully identified: industrial transformation; expansion of infrastructure and stimulation of demand.
