The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has published a new resolution granting aid to 510 holders of fruit and shell farms, in the amount of 1,879,716 euros, to compensate for the difficulties due to the drought and the war in Ukraine. The aid will be entered into farmers’ bank accounts in the next few days.
With this new payment, the amount of this extraordinary aid already amounts to about 80 million euros, from which 69,311 farmers have benefited, which represents 98.6% of the total budget of this line.
The headlines in this new resolution are those who, having appeared in previous resolutions, could not be granted aid because the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) controls for the 2023 campaign were not finalised.
The list of holders of agricultural holdings that meet the aid requirements, along with the number of eligible hectares and the amount of the aid to be received are available on the notice board of the electronic headquarters of the Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEGA).
The distribution for La Rioja of this new payment resolution resolution is as follows:
La Rioja: 24 headlines. 31,314 euros
With this new payment, the total number of beneficiaries and the amount of this aid granted so far is as follows:
La Rioja: 1,002 headlines. 1,257,255 euros
The published resolution also includes the holders who have been dismissed for not complying with the established requirements, as well as those who have not been paid for the aid because they are not aware of their tax obligations or with Social Security. Within a maximum period of one month, the Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEGA) will carry out a second check to verify whether the deficiencies have been corrected and, if they have done so, they will be able to receive the aid.
