The delegate of the Government, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, stressed that these data “corroborate the commitment of the Executive with Balears, with its financing and with the commitment to investments in vital matters for its inhabitants, such as water purification, renewable energies and mobility”.
Thus, Rodríguez Badal pointed out that the Government “promotes the sustainable growth of the islands, through the promotion of initiatives such as the 33 M€ for the purchase of electric buses, investment in the cycling network and pedestrianisation, and the 21 M€ for the expansion of the Palma metro”. He also highlighted the 15 renewable energy projects carried out by the Central Executive in the archipelago, with a budget of 28 M€, or the 96 M€ for the expansion of the Palma treatment plant.
