The subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas López, closed this afternoon the II Atlantic Business Forum, held in A Pobra do Caramiñal, with a speech in which she highlighted the key role of companies and entrepreneurs in the economic, social and territorial transformation of the country.
During his speech, Rivas stressed that “companies are key elements to guarantee territorial cohesion, the dynamization of rural areas, the modernization of productive sectors and the competitiveness of Galicia and Spain in the world”. He also stressed that the Government of Spain is working to accompany and facilitate the development of viable and forward-looking business projects.
The subdelegate highlighted the direct impact of the Recovery Plan on the Galician business fabric, and recalled that “8 out of every 10 euros mobilized by the Plan in Galicia arrived directly to the companies”. In the province of A Coruña alone, he indicated, the Kit Digital program benefited more than 15,900 companies with an investment of 66 million euros destined to the technification and digitalization.
Throughout the day, the forum —organized by Tierra Empresarial de el Atlántico (SEA)— brought together authorities, institutional representatives, experts and companies to discuss issues such as artificial intelligence, access and commercialization of industrial land, energy challenges and business internationalization.
Rivas positively valued these spaces of meeting and reflection, noting that “Galicia needs forums like this”, and pointed out that the Government of Spain will always be “on the side of companies so that entrepreneurship, innovation and cooperation remain engines of development for the whole of the citizenry”.
The subdelegate thanked the work of the SEA team, headed by Beatriz Sestayo, and acknowledged the professionalism of the speakers who participated in the meeting, who contributed to making the forum a platform to advance the sustainability, digitalization and internationalization of the Galician productive fabric.
“From the Government we are promoting an inclusive, sustainable and accessible transformation, betting on innovation as an engine for the future,” concluded María Rivas.
