The deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, valued the collaboration between the security forces and the businessmen of the La Grela polygon, in A Coruña, for the improvement of their security.
María Rivas held a meeting with the National Police and the Association of Businessmen of Agrela, to listen to their needs and continue to deepen their security. Rivas presented them with innovative tools that they can make use of in any emergency, such as the AlertCops mobile application, through which they can immediately and discreetly contact the security forces.
“We held this meeting to show the complete functionalities of this app to the Agrela business community so that they can count on it in their daily lives,” said the deputy delegate.
The deputy delegate conveyed to them the confidence that they have the government and the police on their side in the face of any emergency, but also in their daily needs. Just for that, he thanked the police for their work in defending the citizenry, “allowing us to move forward together towards a more just and rights-based society.”
María Rivas pointed out that, through the collaboration they are weaving, “businessmen, government and security forces will be able to promote modern security measures adapted to the needs of the Agrela polygon.”
In addition, María Rivas also valued the gratitude to the security forces and bodies of the State, “builders of a better world through their work, always focused on security, one of the pillars of our rule of law.”
He valued their constant spirit of improvement, which is also shown in the innovation they carry out in the face of new forms of crime. Examples of this look to the future are the application of AlertCops itself, but also the technological innovation to tackle computer crimes or cyber scams.
Not only that, but also on a social level there is a great commitment of the Police to equal rights of citizens regardless of where they live, be it in the city or in the rural. This purpose is expressed through initiatives such as the VIDOCs, specialized police vehicles that bring to the villas the services of renewal and issuance of passports and ID cards, without the rural citizenship having to travel to the cities. Actions like this are in line with the Government’s anti-depopulation policies.
