The deputy delegate of the Government, María Rivas, stressed today that the Government "complies with the citizenship of Ames" in the first meeting of the Follow-up Commission of the project of humanization of the N-525 to the passage by O Milladoiro. María Rivas pointed out that this first meeting materializes the commitment agreed by the government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, with the mayor of Ames at his last meeting.
The commission aims to monitor the works and bring the advances closer to the different groups that are affected by them. The deputy delegate of the Government and the mayor of Ames co-chaired the meeting, which took place in the House of Culture of O Milladoiro. The Commission is made up of heads of State Road Demarcation, the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility; the councillors of Urbanism, Víctor Fernández, and of Works and Services, Gustavo Nieto, and spokespersons of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Ames, the Association of Entrepreneurs Novo Milladoiro and the Palmira Bulevar Association.
In the first meeting, which also served as a presentation, some of the suggestions that will be answered in the next meeting on improvements of signage of the work, the reinforcement of the information in the information panels in the exits of Santiago in the direction of O Milladoiro and some communications actions of the project for greater knowledge of the population of Ames.
In this second meeting, in addition, a diversion plan will be presented to address it and with the objective of being able to communicate it to all citizens sufficiently in advance to avoid as much as possible the damages that may occur.
