The subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, today verified the operation of the new tourist information screens that were installed in the municipality, financed through the funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, which contribute more than 15,000 euros. María Rivas highlighted the technological leap represented by these screens for the tourism promotion of Muxía: “we talk about technology at the service of tourism activity, which undoubtedly improves Muxía’s position as one of the relevant destinations within the Costa da Morte”.
These screens have various functionalities, including the creation of tourist plans tailored to the needs of the person who employs them or the provision of real-time information on transport, accommodation or catering services.
The deputy delegate highlighted the strong commitment of the City of Muxía to tourism, “which is now reinforced with this initiative.” “Muxía is placed at the forefront of its region, with this novelty and with such unique facilities as the Parador, flagship of all A Costa da Morte,” he said.
The screens also have a data collection function, so the City Council can obtain, anonymously, the information and needs of the users of the screens to continue improving its tourism offer. The installation of this technology is financed through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, as well as the works of accessibility to the facilities of the Casa del Concello itself.
