The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, indicated that more than 25,000 Galician companies are participating or benefiting from the different financing plans of the Government, more than 7,500 in the province of A Coruña. He did so at the ceremony of presentation of the XIII Business Leadership Award granted by the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of A Coruña (CEC) and which this year fell to the executive president of Alumán, Manuel Ángel Pose Palleiro.
Pedro Blanco affirmed that the Government “is proud to work, collaborate and participate in the growth of Alumán”, which has as clients public companies such as Correos or AENA, and wants to be “the best ally of Galician companies” so that all of them are also deserving of this award.
The delegate recognized the evolution of Alumán, a metallic carpentry that began its activity in 1973 by placing windows and that today is present in 50 markets and in the most avant-garde hotels, convention centers, airports and stations. Also the role of its founder, Manuel Pose Miñones, and his son and current president, Manuel Ángel Pose Palleiro, “who knew how to maintain the essence of the company and, at the same time, had the courage and the courage to evolve and innovate, to the point that today they have more engineers than operators,” he said.
During his speech, Pedro Blanco took the opportunity to thank the industry and the Coruña and Galician company for their role in generating economic activity and employment.
In this regard, he encouraged the Galician business community to continue working and to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the deployment of the Government Recovery Plan, “a plan that is reaching the whole of society, the administrations, the municipalities, the entities, the citizens and the business world.”
“We want to be and feel the best ally of our companies. The doors of the Delegation are open to listen and help. We want our companies to have the maximum support and that Galicia receives up to the last possible euro”, he added.
