Ensure the proper functioning of the entire process
A Subdelegation of the Government is currently finalizing both logistical and security devices, so that the voters and electors of the province can exercise their right to vote with the maximum guarantees. In order to supervise the proper functioning of the electoral mechanism, the Government’s deputy delegate held several working meetings with the different actors involved in the electoral process next Sunday.
In this regard, in addition to meeting with the representatives of security forces and bodies, Maica Larriba went to the logistical warehouse for the distribution of electoral material that the government subdelegation has in the Mobile State Park, in the Xunqueira del Bao (in Pontevedra). From this point all the material that the administration staff classifies (stationery, billboards, ballot boxes, booths) is distributed to each city council of the province.
In each of the visits and the meetings she held, Maica Larriba thanked the Administration’s staff for their involvement and collaboration in order to make the electoral process work perfectly and thus guarantee the appointment with the ballot boxes.
At the same time, the Subdelegation participated in two simulations of the data transmission system used by the representatives of the Administration to transfer data on the opening and closing of tables, advances in participation and final scrutiny. The last of these simulations was held this Monday throughout Spain.
The subdelegate wanted to highlight the effort that such a deployment of resources, both technical and human, represents for the Administration, and expressed her satisfaction with the professionalism with which all the processes are being developed prior to the electoral process this Sunday.
