The deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas has highlighted the importance of the role of families in the School Coexistence Plan during a meeting with Anpas held in the multipurpose center of A Senra, in Bergondo.
It has done so in the course of a day aimed at parents and in which teachers and members of the management teams have also participated. The day is organized by the Provincial Federation of Public Centers of A Coruña in collaboration with the subdelegation of the Government and is the result of the collaboration strategy designed since the beginning of the year to achieve greater participation of families in the activities of this School Coexistence Plan.
During her speech, the subdelegate has highlighted the Coexistence Plan as a tool of work and skills to be used by the entire educational community and "face the new risks we face in the education of our daughters and sons."
María Rivas has emphasized joining forces to reach more families and has recalled the success of the Plan of Coexistence in which 12,883 members of the educational community of the province have participated, in these first months of the year. During this quarter, 553 talks and training sessions were held in 131 educational centres.
The subdelegate thanked the participation in these days of Alberto Arias, inspector of citizen participation of the National Police; Sergio García, trainer of the Civil Guard Coexistence Plan; Antonio Rial, professor of Psychology of the USC and José Alfeiran, High Inspector of Education of Galicia.
During these days the subdelegate has been accompanied by the mayor of Bergondo, Alejandra Pérez Márquez and by the president of the Provincial Federation of Public Centers of A Coruña, María José Ferreño.
