With today’s visit to this bookstore in the center of Ferrol, the Government subdelegate wanted to give visibility to this initiative of the Government, a further sign of sensitivity and commitment to culture and young people.
As the owner of the Central Librera has transferred to the subdelegate of the Government, so far this year more than 100 ferrolanas and ferrolanos have gone through their establishment to invest in books thanks to the Cultural Bond,
Alberto Justo told the subdelegate that this is a great measure and an important impulse to consume culture, as well as being an important incentive to promote the reading habit.
Both María Rivas and Albrto Justo have agreed that the Young Cultural Bonus is a great passport at the age of majority to be able to invest in books without “suffering too much”.
The Young Cultural Bond aims to generate the habit of consuming cultural products in young people so that, as adults, they integrate culture as part of their daily lives. It works as a prepaid card charged with 400 euros and from which young people who turn 18 years of age can benefit during 2023 for the acquisition and enjoyment of products, services and cultural activities.
The bonus will be valid for the 12 months following its concession. Each beneficiary may allocate up to 200 euros to live arts, cultural heritage and audiovisual arts; a maximum of 100 euros to cultural goods in physical form and another 100 euros to digital or online consumption in the entities adhered to the program.
As for the next call that will be opened in the coming months, all those companies that are already part of the Young Cultural Bonus will be able to continue offering their services or products without having to carry out any procedures.
