The government delegate in Galicia, José Miñones, visited this morning the headquarters of the technology company Trison in Sada (A Coruña) and has checked the process of innovation and modernization experienced by the business fabric of Galicia, with the Government Recovery Plan as a catalyst for digital transformation. During his visit, the delegate held a meeting with the founder, Carlos Saavedra, and with several directors and greeted the general director, Alberto Cáceres, by hologram. Trison is the largest company in its sector in Europe and is among the first in the world, with 2,500 projects per year in 112 countries.
José Miñones has congratulated Trison on the public contract he has just won, by which he will supply audiovisual equipment to the classrooms of the 46 centers of the Cervantes Institute in Europe, Asia and Oceania, with funds from the Recovery Plan. The award amounts to three million euros with funds from the Recovery Plan managed by this institute attached to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “Trison is a success story that allows us to confirm that the Government’s Recovery Plan has arrived in Galicia, has arrived in A Coruña and has reached our companies,” said the delegate, who influenced this company “exports Galician innovation and knowledge, and allows us to go hand in hand with Trison throughout Europe and Asia.”
The Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Government has favored more than 5,500 companies in Galicia, “either through grants and direct subsidies, by concurrence, or through financing”, to which the different calls for grants and lines of credit under advantageous conditions are added. “We are allies of the business sector, we understand the importance of supporting our companies to generate economic activity, create employment and wealth in Galicia”, concluded the delegate.
Trison, a success case
Trison is a technological company based in the Espiritu Santo estate, in Sada (A Coruña) with more than 30 years of experience. Its founder, Carlos Saavedra, began his professional career in the world of fashion. Today Trison is a global company, with its own delegations in 14 countries in Europe, Asia and America (Spain, France, England, Germany, China, Turkey, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates and USA).
The firm specializes in the digitalization of physical spaces, with a vision oriented to the generation of customer experiences. To do this, it offers solutions that combine physical and online space.
In this line, Trison has been awarded two of the four lots of the supply contract, within the framework of the Government’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), of audiovisual equipment for the classrooms of the Cervantes Institute in Europe and Asia and Oceania (lots 1 and 4) in the amount of 3 million euros. This action will allow the unification of the models of all the audiovisual devices installed in the different centers of the Cervantes Institute in Asia and Oceania (10) and Europe (36), which in turn will facilitate their functionality and usability.
Digitization, a priority of the Recovery Plan
Digitalization is a priority and cross-cutting axis of the Government’s policies and its Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR). In this line, measures such as the Digital Kit, which already benefits more than 12,000 self-employed and companies in Galicia, representing an investment of 58 million euros, or the Single Plan, which with an investment of 107 million (71 contributed by the Government) has brought high-speed internet to more than 200,000 homes and companies (226,725) that until now did not have this service.
