The government delegate in Galicia, José Miñones, has today claimed in A Coruña the leading role of the Government of Pedro Sánchez as “main ally for the growth of companies and entrepreneurial projects in Galicia”. He said this during a visit to the facilities of the Coruña company Kibus, which has benefited from a financing line of the public company Enisa to support its expansion.
José Miñones, together with the deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, has known the service offered by Kibus in the Eusebio da Guarda da Coruña Market, by the hand of its manager, Eduardo Sanjurjo.
“We understand the importance of supporting our companies to generate economic activity, create jobs and wealth in Galicia,” said the delegate. Only the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Government has favored more than 5,500 companies in Galicia, “either through direct grants and subsidies, by concurrence, or through financing”, to which the different calls for grants and lines of credit under advantageous conditions, such as those offered by Enisa, are added.
Enisa is a public company attached to the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, whose mission is to contribute to the viability of innovative projects of small and medium-sized Spanish companies. In recent years, this company has financed in Galicia, with 32 million euros, 238 projects and operations of small and medium enterprises to promote innovative entrepreneurship projects, as is the case of Kibus.
Kibus, a success case
Kibus was born in A Coruña in 2019 and is currently present in more than 20 markets throughout Spain (seven of the main cities of Galicia), has 23,000 users and gives online visibility to 250 stands of fresh products.
Through Kibus, each placero has its virtual stand with its products, its prices and also its offers, which has stimulated sales in all traditional markets by offering the customer a virtual shopping experience equal to the one they would have if they went to the market in person.
Kibus has agreed to a participatory loan offered by Enisa to develop the platform that allows the consumer to buy and receive fresh food from local markets at home. These loans have advantageous conditions, such as the absence of an external guarantee and the length of repayment periods and shortages, among others.
