The deputy delegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, held on Monday in the City of Burela a meeting with the mayor, Alfredo Llano, and with the representative of the Spanish Football Federation, Pablo Martín, in which the security device for the Spanish Women's Futsal Supercup that will be held this weekend in the Vista Alegre pavilion of the municipality of Burelés was finalized.
Isabel Rodríguez reported that the State Security Forces and Corps will collaborate with the Spanish Football Federation so that the competition will take place with the maximum security guarantees on January 28 and 29. In addition to representatives of the Federation, organizer of the tournament, the Civil Guard, Traffic Subsector, National Police, Autonomic and Local also participated in the meeting. For the event, a reinforcement of police forces was planned to ensure the safety of the people who will gather in the pavilion and around it.
After the meeting, the Government’s deputy delegate appealed to all the public who will gather in the Burela pavilion to witness the competition that encourages their teams to comply with the established safety standards.
Isabel Rodríguez took the opportunity to congratulate the City of Burela for hosting this event, which will bring together football fans from Murcia, Madrid and Melilla, and wished Pescados Rubén Burela F.S. during the competition “to win the fifth Spanish Super Cup title”.
In this edition they participate, in addition to the Pescados Rubén Burela F.S., Futsi Atco. Navalcarnero, the STV Roldán and MSC Torreblanca. The competition will be played by formatting “Final to Four”, with semifinals and final.
Review of security in the municipality
At the meeting, the subdelegate took the opportunity to review the data related to security in the City of Burela. Thus, it was satisfied that the data show a positive trend by reducing by 29.6% the number of crimes that occurred in the municipality with respect to the year 2019. Currently, the crime rate of the municipality is 17.92% per thousand inhabitants, being much lower than the average of the province and Galicia.
