The government delegate in Extremadura, José Luis Quintana, has highlighted “the excellence and commitment to the values of public service” that have marked the professional trajectory of Inspector-Chief Manuel Rico Gragera, who this morning has taken office as the new Head of the National Police Station in Almendralejo.
In an event held in the town of Pacense, the delegate praised the career of the new police chief, who has served for more than 20 years in destinations such as Girona, Ceuta, Madrid or Badajoz.
The Inspector-Chief Rico Gragera has a degree in Law and Art History, an expert in Foreigners, International Cooperation, Regulations and Fundamental Rights. In addition, the new head of the Almendralejo police station has an extensive history of recognition in which two Police Merit Crossings with white distinctive, a Medal for Dedication to Police Service and more than 180 collective congratulations stand out.
These distinctions “are proof of a career marked by excellence, commitment to the values of public service and a deep vocation to protect and serve,” said the government delegate during his speech.
Quintana has highlighted the support of the Government Delegation in Extremadura to the National Police and has recognized the efforts of the members of the body. “Our commitment is to provide you with the resources, training and recognition you deserve,” he stressed.
The government delegate has highlighted the work of the National Police in Almendralejo, which “exercises with closeness, training, respect and responsibility”, and whose new head “embodies that idea of modern security, dialogue and commitment to the democratic values that we defend as a country”.
