The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, together with the mayor of Cullera, Jordi Mayor, and the subdelegate of the Government in Valencia, José Rodríguez, has visited the facilities of the Zevra festival and the media exhibition of the Civil Guard that will guarantee security during the development of the event between 18 and 21 July. According to Bernabé, there will be more than 700 members of the Civil Guard, from different specialties such as road safety, public order, citizen security and anti-terrorism to which Local Police, firefighters, health and private security will be added, which will make up the security device of participants, attendees and “all those who live with the festival”.
In addition, there will be a Maritime Service boat, drones and an Air Service helicopter. Likewise, the delegate stressed, “traffic controls will be carried out to avoid the consumption of alcohol and drugs at the wheel.” Also inside the enclosure, there will be an advanced command post for the security forces. The delegate has indicated that “there will be a greater presence of troops at night coinciding with the greater influx of public”.
It is, as Barnabas said, “an operation of highs that will be fully effective to guarantee the development of this festival reconciling security and celebration”.
The delegate has pointed out that, on the part of the organization of the event, violet points will be installed, which will have the support of Civil Guard personnel. Bernabé recalled that situations of male violence can be reported through the telephone 016 or that, through the Alertcops application, anyone who sees or suffers from a situation of danger can warn the FCSE.
