The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has closed the II National Meeting of Young Entrepreneurs that has been held in Denia, organized by the National Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs together with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Valencian Community.
In this event, Bernabé highlighted that “the Government of Spain has been, is and will be with its entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs” because “they are not only the future but the present” for the generation of wealth and employment.
Spain, said the delegate, “is going through a good time. Fortunately, the apocalyptic forecasts of some parties have not been met. Quite the opposite.” According to the OECD, Bernabé recalled, “the Spanish economy is growing like no other at a rate of 2.8% and has reached the record number of people working exceeding those 21.2 million employees.”
The administrations “must be allied to the companies”. Therefore, the Government of Spain “has put in place mechanisms to favor the creation of companies, especially those related to innovative sectors of high added value”. This is the case of the so-called Start-up Act, which seeks to support innovative, digitally-based start-ups or the ONE initiative: “The one-stop shop” that facilitates the interaction and progress of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. In addition, the Next Funds, to date, have involved an injection of more than 6,400 M€ with an impact on 71,254 awardees, of which 51,302 are companies. To this is also added, as indicated by the delegate, the credit for companies through the CDTI Innovation call with 16 projects of Valencian beneficiary companies worth 7.1 million.
The Government, he concluded, “will continue to move forward on the path of social dialogue to meet the demands of the business sector to adapt to a changing and complex world and remain competitive.”
