The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has presided over the takeover of the new subdelegate of the Government in the province of Valencia, José Rodríguez Jury.
In this act, the delegate of the Government, said that “there is a formula of success that always repeats itself: dialogue and institutional collaboration.” This, he added, “is the path that the Subdelegation of the Government in Valencia will continue to apply with the other administrations present in the province, as well as with the economic and social agents with the sole purpose of improving people’s lives.” However, Barnabas added that the government “will always be in front of those who feed confrontation and insult the different” and, in addition, “will not tolerate the negationism of male violence and it will not be accepted that climate change is denied”. In this regard, he pointed out that the Delegation and the subdelegations will work to ensure that “the 2030 Agenda is fulfilled because the Government is fully committed to the green transition”. In addition, “they will be very vigilant for municipalities to comply with the State Pact against Gender Violence because it is a matter of social urgency.” “The Government Delegation will work to avoid taking a step backwards in the rights of people and, specifically, in the rights of women and, this objective will be developed by the subdelegate in Valencia as we have been developing it in the last five years,” he added.
Barnabas has also highlighted “the vocation of service” of the new subdelegate, which, he said, “will deepen the path marked by the Government to promote economic development and measures that expand the welfare system.” In addition, Bernabé thanked the work carried out by Raquel Ibáñez at the head of the Subdelegation in Valencia who “has demonstrated during the last 13 months his capacity for work, his involvement and his loyal service to the Administration”.
On the other hand, the new subdelegate of the Government in Valencia has highlighted "his commitment to the towns and cities of the province so that the neighbors and neighbors feel close to the Government of Spain". In addition, he has said that he will “maintain his support and recognition of the FCSEs that guarantee democratic principles and security” and that “fight against all types of crimes, including hate crimes, gender violence or cybercrime.”
José Rodríguez Jury, who graduated in Law, has been a career officer in the A1 General Management Technical Superior Corps since March 2023. He has carried out his duties as head of the Human Resources area of the City of Canet d’en Berenguer (Valencia). In addition, he has extensive training in areas related to administration, such as personnel management or prevention of occupational risks, among others; and has participated as an advisor in the creation and development of software for the control of schedules within the Human Resources department of the Canet Consistory.
