The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has presented, together with the Superior Chief of Police of the Valencian Community, Jorge Marti, the incorporation of 30 new uniformed vehicles. These patrol cars, said Bernabé, “will provide the province of Valencia with vehicles adapted with the technology and security necessary to carry out the daily work of the National Police by its agents.”
The National Police of the Valencian Community has as of today, according to the delegate, 51 new vehicles. To the 30 that will serve in the province of Valencia, 16 are added for the province of Alicante and 5 for the province of Castellón. In less than three months, said Bernabé, “the National Police in the Valencian Community has incorporated 72 new vehicles”.
The delegate stressed “the commitment and commitment of the Government with the improvement of police means and the security of citizens.” In this sense, he has indicated that thanks to “the avant-garde police and their continuous modernization we can say that the Valencian Community and Spain are one of the safest areas in the world”.
In addition to material means, said Bernabé, “the Government is dignifying police infrastructures.” For this reason, the Ministry of the Interior “has heeded a historical demand of the police, but also of the city, giving the green light to the works of integral rehabilitation of the Zapadores Police Complex, which is the largest investment in police infrastructures of the legislature with 30 million euros”. When the works are finished, “Zapadores will be one of the largest police stations in Spain,” said the delegate.
