The new magnetic resonance imaging, already installed, will be operational in the month of December, after a period of training by health professionals. in order to get acquainted with this new technology. The price of the new magnetic resonance, derived from the framework agreement, is 1,252,718.00 euros, while the price of the work has been 534,175.84€.

The new state-of-the-art resonance, thanks to artificial intelligence, allows to reduce the time of exploration and provides images with a higher resolution and quality. In addition, it has a shorter and wider tunnel, 70 centimeters in diameter, which improves the comfort and comfort of the patient, reducing the feeling of claustrophobia.
These new equipment will be aimed at advanced studies in oncology, neurological research and functional analysis of the brain, among others. It will also diagnose other types of pathologies that with other equipment with lower resolution would be impossible to detect. In short, this is one of the most innovative magnetic resonances of the moment.
Adaptive MRI thanks to the new `Air Coils´
The new MRI will also feature the ‘Air Coils’, which have been awarded as the best radiology device. This device, exerts adaptive magnetic resonance, since it is light and comfortable, as if it were a blanket, adjusting to the shape and placement of the patient. It’s as close as the patient can be to full positioning freedom with 360 degree coverage.
