The National Institute of Health Management announces the arrival of its first hemodynamics team to form the first Hemodynamics room in Ceuta, marking a milestone in the health sector of the city. This is a significant advance, since Ceuta had never had a room of this kind.
The new room will have a total value of 1,357,115.71 euros, including the acquisition of the equipment, the work and the direction of this. This space will be attended by a multidisciplinary team dedicated to diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases, as well as providing pre- and post-procedural care to promote patient recovery.
The new Hemodynamics room, which will be in close relationship with the Cardiology service and the Intensive Care Unit, will allow the anatomical and functional study of the heart through the introduction of catheters in the patient to know the state of the coronary arteries, heart valves, movements of the walls of the heart and large vessels.
It will also be composed of highly trained professionals and has state-of-the-art technology to perform procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties and stent placement. This will make it possible to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases more efficiently and accurately.
INGESA reaffirms its commitment to continue investing in technology and resources to ensure quality healthcare in Ceuta. The arrival of the Hemodynamics team is another example of the improvements that will be implemented in the University Hospital, with the aim of providing comprehensive and specialized care to citizens.
The University Hospital of Ceuta, inaugurated in February 2010, has consolidated itself as a reference in health care in the city. With the incorporation of the Hemodynamics team, its ability to offer advanced medical services and improve the quality of life of Ceutian citizens is further strengthened.
