For his part, the subdelegate of the Government, Pedro de la Fuente, has stressed the importance of the involvement of parents in these talks so that they know at first hand the dangers faced by their children through the Internet, which many families do not know, or the guidelines to prevent bullying, among other issues of vital importance.
In addition, De la Fuente has highlighted that the main objective of the Master Plan for Coexistence and Improvement of Security in schools and their environments is to respond to issues related to the safety of minors in schools, as well as to improve knowledge of police resources available for crime prevention and victim protection.
In this meeting, the subdelegate has highlighted the important work that members of the security forces do to promote this type of talk and meetings to avoid violence against women, xenophobia or other hate crimes, in addition to influencing the risks associated with the internet, alcohol and drug consumption and gambling.
In this way, through the talks and activities, police experts inform the educational community about the problems of safety and coexistence and provide it with the necessary training to alleviate and prevent any possible crime in the school environment.
