Sabrido encourages the Civil Guard to continue working "from honesty, loyalty and legality" and reminds the victims of terrorism

The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, José Pablo Sabrido, presided over the act of the Civil Guard on the occasion of the Day of the Victims of Terrorism, in which the 243 members of the body killed were remembered.

Toledo.- The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, José Pablo Sabrido, presided over the act of the Civil Guard on the occasion of the Day of the Victims of Terrorism, in which the 243 members of the body killed were remembered.
“243 that are not a mere fact, they are people with names and surnames and a shattered family,” said the delegate in his speech, adding that “today is a day of remembrance, it is a day to fight for their memory to remain present” and that “we cannot forget them”.
In his address, Sabrido has shown his “appreciation and gratitude” to the Civil Guard for the public service work it does. A facet that excites the government delegate, who assures that the reason for his murder was “because they were public servants”.
In addition, the delegate has addressed the civil guards “children of the body, who are part of a family closely linked to the Civil Guard”, remembering that a couple of weeks ago he received the new students who join to finish their training in Castilla-La Mancha and that in another era, there were students who were killed.
Finally, Sabrido has encouraged the Civil Guard to continue working “from the frontispiece of the Constitution, from honesty, loyalty and legality for the benefit of this great country, of this great nation that is Spain.”

The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha has been accompanied by the acting chief colonel of the second zone of the Civil Guard, Jesús Manuel Rodrigo, who has focused during his address on the importance of the act to “honor the memory” of the victims of terrorism.
In addition, he has placed special emphasis on the fact that it was the terrorist band ETA that claimed the most lives of civil guards, with 210, and that “Spanish society managed to overcome the fruit of the collective effort.”
In this regard, he praised the benemérita’s ability to protect the country “every time Spanish society is threatened” and to remember that “the peace we enjoy today has our victims behind it”.
