Toledo.- The Subdelegation of the Government of Toledo has concluded the activities scheduled on the occasion of the ‘Open Administration Week’ with a meeting with senior citizens of the capital.
During the session, the technical staff of the Subdelegation explained to the attendees the different integrated units and services that make up the Subdelegation of the Government of Toledo, as an organ of the General Administration of the State in the territory.
The participants in this third activity organized by the Government Subdelegation to bring the Public Administrations closer to the citizens, received information on the different procedures that can be carried out through the use of telematic means, either from a computer or from the mobile phone itself, without the need to go in person to the Subdelegation units and also on the electronic identity system Cl@ve, electronic ID or digital certificate, as a means of identification before the public administrations to be able to carry out these procedures.
The subdelegate of the Government stressed the usefulness of explaining the program ‘The Administration near you’ to senior citizens, since they are usually the people with less digital skills and knowledge, and one of the groups that can most benefit from the savings of avoiding travel for the processing of files with the Administration.
In this sense, after completing the exhibition and the question sessions, the technicians facilitated the issuance of electronic Cl@ve identities and digital certificates to twenty citizens who showed their interest in this new way of access to the services of the General Administration of the State.
The Subdelegation of the Government of Toledo on the occasion of the ‘Open Administration Week’ also scheduled two other activities in its auditorium last Tuesday, consisting of a conference under the title: ‘Maps at your fingertips and Natural risks’, aimed at young people, which was run by Juan José Pez, director of the Regional Service of the National Geographic Institute in Castilla-La Mancha, and Valentín del Hierro, head of the Territorial Civil Protection Unit in Castilla-La Mancha; and a conference by the writer Rafael del Cerro Malagón, under the title: ‘The Government Delegation in the heart of Toledo. history and images of Zocodover Square’.
