Ciudad Real.- The Subdelegation of the Government of Ciudad Real has held four informative sessions this week, on the occasion of the open day framed in the Open Administration Week.
The subdelegate of the Government in the province of Ciudad Real, María de los Ángeles Herreros, has made a positive balance of participation, which has contracted, among other attendees, with about twenty students of the certificate of professionalism of Administrative Activities and their Relationship with Customers, to which it has been possible to show and detail the services provided by the General Administration of the State (AGE) and the way to access them.
María de los Ángeles Herreros has placed special emphasis on the need to bring institutions closer to the citizens through activities such as this, of dissemination. In addition, he has taken the opportunity to thank civil servants and employees for joining this initiative: “One of the lessons learned from the health crisis caused by Covid-19 is the importance of having sufficiently equipped and effective public services. And in this respect, the backbone of public services, which are the workers of the public sector, deserve all our respect, recognition.”
Precisely open days such as these serve “to strengthen the links between public authorities and citizens, demonstrating the commitment of our institutions to the development of the values of transparency, accountability, citizen participation and the collaboration of public administrations with society,” said Herreros.
Through several public employees of the institution, the young people were informed about the services provided through the AGE and how to access them and received the basic guidelines for the use of tools such as the Permanent Key, the application of the Citizen Folder or aspects related to the security of digital certificates.
They also had the opportunity to approach other services provided by the AGE, such as unemployment benefits and the Minimum Vital Income or the letter of services of the Government’s own Subdelegation.
“Without a doubt, this Open Government Week has been an unbeatable opportunity for all citizens to know better how the Administrations work and become familiar with the values of Open Government that must guide the performance of public responsibilities and the actions of the Administrations,” concluded the deputy delegate.
