Ciudad Real.-The subdelegate of the Government of Spain in the province of Ciudad Real, Mª de los Ángeles Herreros, and the delegate of the Board of Communities in Castilla-La Mancha, Carmen Teresa Olmedo, have inaugurated this morning the training day in the VioGén system and in Gender Violence, aimed at professionals of the women's centers, social services and offices of attention to the victims that have been imparted by the State Security Forces and Bodies, and which is organized by the Unit against Violence on Women of the Government.
A day attended by seventy professionals from all these services that care for victims of gender violence and who have come from different localities of the province.
Mª Ángeles Herreros said that “this coordination between the administrations is fundamental, as well as increasing the number of telematic measures, since, to date, no woman protected with any of these measures has been killed by an abuser”.
For her part, the delegate of the Board, Carmen Teresa Olmedo, has highlighted the work “of the 286 professionals who work in the 26 women’s centers that exist in the province.”
Speakers from both the UFAM (Family and Women Unit) of the National Police, and the EMUME (Women and Minors Unit) of the Civil Guard will influence on this occasion the system of protection of victims and their children, either from the first attention, to the application of the zero protocol, or to the knowledge of the most common criminal types and everything related to protection orders, telematic devices and other protection devices.
In addition, they will know the application system of the VioGen itself: annotations, incidents or data recordings.
