Cuenca.- The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, Francisco Tierraseca, has defended the effort of the General Administration of the State to facilitate to the citizens the online processing of the services it offers. “In the almost 200 informative sessions that we have carried out in Castilla-La Mancha of the 'Administration near you' we have helped more than 2,600 neighbors of small municipalities to obtain the digital certificate or the permanent key.”
In this way, the delegate pointed out, progress is being made towards “the dual objective pursued by the program: to reduce the digital divide and strengthen equal opportunities in access to public services regardless of where you reside”.
Tierraseca has attended the informative session of the program ‘The Administration near you’ held in the municipality of Villares del Saz, accompanying the General Secretary of Territorial Coordination, Miryam Álvarez, and together with the mayor, Jorge Hermosilla, and the subdelegate of the Government in the province, Mª Luz Fernández.
The visit is part of the start of the new phase of this program, now focused on the towns of 500 to 300 inhabitants, after the first phase began last November, aimed at municipalities of between 8,000 and 500 inhabitants.
Tierraseca participated in this session in which staff of the Subdelegation explained to the neighbors and attendees the possibilities of telematic access to public services and thus avoid displacements and waiting for the completion of procedures. The delegate also praised the involvement of both the mayor of Villares del Saz and the municipalities of the region that have also attended this informative meeting, coming from San Lorenzo de La Parrilla, Villarejo Periesteban, Montalbo, Zafra de Záncara, El Hito and Cervera del Llano. “The collaboration of the municipalities to spread this program among the population is essential for its success,” insisted the government delegate.
In this new phase, 9 face-to-face sessions have been held in municipalities of the province with between 500 and 300 inhabitants, in which the bordering municipalities have also been convened so that the more neighbours and neighbours the better are those who have the possibility to receive information and be helped in their administrative procedures. In the first phase, 53 municipalities of Cuenca between 8,000 and 500 inhabitants benefited from this initiative promoted by the General Administration of the State, through the Delegation and the Subdelegations of the Government.
To date, in Castilla-La Mancha, visits have been made to 195 municipalities, with the assistance of 2,628 people, in which a total of 857 Permanent Access Cl@ve and 1,311 digital certificates have been processed.
Easy participation
Those interested in participating only have to attend the day fixed in each of the sessions to receive information about the digital services that are available to them and obtain the means of electronic identification (electronic certificate and Cl@ve) that give access to them, which will allow them to interact telematically with the Administration from their computer or mobile device.
The electronic certificate and the permanent Cl@ve are the keys to access the Administration’s catalog of digital services, among which the Citizen Folder stands out, an application in which personal data can be consulted (training, working life, etc. ), prior appointments, procedural information, pending notifications or status of pending dossiers, as well as receiving notices and alerts.
They are also the tools that allow interaction with the electronic offices of various bodies (such as the DGT, Social Security, Cadastre, or Imserso) and the Subdelegation itself, with services that can be managed telematically, such as requests for various administrative authorizations, emergency assistance, services specifically aimed at foreigners and the issuance and homologation of academic degrees.
