Criminal offenses have fallen by 12.02% in the municipality of Colindres from January to September compared to the same period of 2024 thanks to the decrease of 10.71% in conventional crime and 14.71% in cybercrime.
This was detailed on Monday by the government delegate in Cantabria, Pedro Casares, in the Local Security Board that he chaired together with the mayor of Colindres, Javier Incera.
In the meeting, held at the City Hall, the head of the Civil Guard, Lieutenant Colonel Julio Postigo, along with other officers of the body and representatives of the Local Police, also participated.
Casares has indicated that, in the first nine months of 2025, crimes against people, crimes of injuries and tumultuous squabbling and crimes against sexual freedom have decreased.
At the meeting, both the government delegate and the mayor have valued the collaboration and coordination between the Civil Guard and the Local Police to ensure citizen security in the municipality.
